12th Annual Glotman-Simpson Cypress Challenge
The 12th annual Glotman-Simpson Cypress Challenge, benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation in support of pancreatic cancer research at BC Cancer, is Sunday, August 11th, 2019.
Challenge yourself to cycle up Cypress Mountain—individually or on a team of four—and help change the outcome for families facing pancreatic cancer across the province.
This year, more than 800 British Columbians will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and it’s projected that out of those 800 people, only 10 per cent (or 80 people) will live five years.
Since 2008, Cypress Challenge has raised over $2.9 million to enable the experts at BC Cancer to better understand pancreatic cancer, which is difficult to detect at an early stage and often resistant to treatment.
Register today at www.cypresschallenge.com and help bring new hope to British Columbians impacted by pancreatic cancer.
