General Permit Information
Address change: May be requested by the property owner. The completed Application for property address change (PDF 15.1 KB) can be e-mailed, faxed or brought in to the Permits Department. If the request is approved a fee of $1,000 + HST as set out in the Fees and Charges Bylaw is required. Once complete, the District will notify all departments and agencies affected by the change, including emergency services.
Board of Variance: Applications to the Board of Variance can only be made following a Building Permit Application submission with a letter from the Building Inspector conforming the specific variances.
Property Searches: Can be provided upon written request, provided the information and records requested are accessible through the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The cost is $210 (incl. GST) for single family or duplex properties and $315 (incl. GST) for condominium/apartments, commercial, industrial, and institutional properties.
